Adult education programs across Maryland serve as a vital bridge to economic mobility, workforce development, and personal growth. The South Baltimore Learning Center, along with other community-based programs, has transformed the lives of thousands of adult learners by providing essential literacy, high school equivalency, workforce training, and college readiness programs.
Initiated by the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE), of which MAACCE is an affiliate, the Legislative Champion Awards recognize outgoing Maryland congressional leaders including Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger and Congressman David Trone who have supported adult education and education access.
The Spring into Education: Spring Open House will feature student success stories, program demonstrations, and an opportunity for attendees to engage with educators and community advocates who are working tirelessly to advance adult education in Maryland.
We look forward to seeing you SBLC on March 20th 2025.
